Fascinating account of gifted children All the children stood out as special and deserve to be given every opportunity. The worrying aspect was the parental pressure. Some were clearly pushing their children to succeed. Others were unaware of the developmental benefits of their children socialising with other children. One fears for the future happiness of most of these children. Most are bound to face failure in life through not meeting the high expectations they have of themselves. If the programme makers can stick with this story over the next few years, it will be a valuable documentary of interest to parents, teachers, educationalists and politicians.
