What about Elf & Safety? Regularly watch this programme with tongue in cheek and wonder if HSE watch it too. This weeks took the biscuit, sending Fiona out with a tail lift she did not know how to use, what about training. I know of prosecutions elsewhere for lack of training. As for load restraint, what a laugh, VOSA take note as its now in your brief.
Profession hauliers? more like professional cowboys! Real haulier now retired!9:07pm Sat 7 Apr
Decent programme all in all Ok we understand this is slightly poorly produced, but perhaps that was down to budget.
I love trucks and would like to be a trucker in a few years. The guys on this programme do a fab job and i have a lot of time for stobarts. look forward to the next ep. Mr Wannabe8:55pm Sun 18 Mar
Brain dead Can anyone tell me has the 4 foot gremlin chris Driscoll been sacked yet at the Daresbury site or is he still nose deep in backside? Please let me know! Ex disillusioned employee1:21pm Mon 12 Mar

IQ of a tree Best laugh ever! All the Daresbury managers rushing around trying to get the orders out. 4 foot tall Flm says we can't have slackers here got to get the job done. If you ever have the missfortune of working for this mickey mouse out fit watchout for the lazy little brain dead unpulumpa driscal. PS love the show! Ex stobart grafter2:05pm Fri 27 Jan
utter crap if people belive this is what stobarts is like this then they are sadly mistaken, this company treats its staff like dirt, all us driver that have been made redundant have not been paid correctly and had holidays deducted from our redundancy pay. people need to face facts, they have lost the tesco contract, a big chunk of coca cola has gone and william is leaving the company this year, so what does that tell you. stop worshiping this company and see it for what it really is. ex driver1:28pm Wed 11 Jan

top company many people are jealous of what stobarts have achieved they make you sick baz9:57am Sat 28 May
Utter Nonsense There is no continuity in this programme, drivers stsart with Scania wagons are then seen driving Volvo wagons. Fiona trying to get traction in the snow with her mid lift axle down and not using the diff lock oh and then saying on camera "i've never used manual gear selection on this vehicle before"....utter lunacy. Not a good reflection for Stobart. Oh by the way these drivers were hand picked NOT to embarrass the company...hahahaha. Biomass.1:10pm Sun 16 Jan
Aaarghhh Having watched the real dangers faced by the Ice Road Truckers, I caught a bit of this idiocy. Oh no, someone will be late delivering pizzas to Peterborough...such drama! And as for the lorry spotters...sad, sad, sad. Proud Pagan5:06pm Thu 30 Dec
Thrills Galore Gripping I wonder who might be slightly late for a drop off and which road might have a bit of a hold up on it in this weeks thrilling installment. Who did Mr. Stobart pay for this hunk of advertising? FIX6:19pm Tue 28 Dec
False!!!!! Just cannot belive how false that programe is 1. Drivers get first dabs on truck names?? I dont think so! 2.Girly trucker comes off nights and goes on days and old boy goes out with her to make sure she can handle 3 drops in yorkshire?? would never happen! Gas stove in cab? told on induction that these are banned. Kids in cab? anybody else doing that would be sacked told on induction anybody who doesnt work 4 company not allowed in cab. Fuel bonus lol to quote 3.50 a day might not sound alot but its a whopping 1200 pound a year.....er really done my head in that we only work 47 weeks and even if you got it every day which nobody does its nowhere near that ammount. What about those sad people who went truckfest without being paid and spent the weekend polishing truck?? well all I can say is you must really do it for ur mrs and they must get so excited by you lol Realist!10:45am Wed 1 Dec
BeemerGuy Thanks mate ! Jim8:31pm Sun 28 Nov
Spelling I wish some people would check their spelling before posting. You can hardly slate truck drivers if you can't even spell yourselves. Big Red3:11pm Fri 22 Oct
Scumbarts Its all about the image, they don't give a monkeys toss about the drivers. The pressure that the drivers are put under by clueless planners with today's laws and traffic conditions is unbelieveable and all for crap pay.The only good thing about them is decent trucks to drive. A stressed ex employee1:22am Mon 18 Oct
@Chuck Aha, I will forgive you then ;) My hubby too was driving horse boxes (with race horses) at 14, so in reality has been driving since 1954 56 years!! But has only been on commercial wagons since he was 21. The best days have gone ... ... ... Dizzyhippy4:59pm Sat 16 Oct
Dizzyhippy They weren't so tight on regs back then. I was driving wagons for my old man's firm when I was 15. Chuck Anchayla2:34pm Sat 9 Oct

Is this a mockumentry????? I can't take the tension... will the cream cakes get there in one piece (for the second week running). Will the lorry make it over the Dartford bridge despite the drivers vertigo. Oh no!! the tent post is bent its just minute by minute tension. An hour of my life I can't get back..11:47pm Fri 8 Oct
Took it seriously I take the abismal driving very seriously. It is clear this company puts pressure on its employees to, 'deliver'. Seem to me teh safety of the motorists has to yeild to this company. Great production for exposing this dreadful company, in my view. Its only the female driver who apepars to do it right.
Where is the DVLA??? Saftey before cash8:41pm Fri 8 Oct
Don't take it to heart !! Folks, it's only a TV show, enjoy it for what it is - entertainment - have a bit of fun and just disregard the odd bit which is somewhat offbeat, then it's reasonably entertaining ! Mondeoman lol6:49pm Mon 4 Oct
How to make a laughing stock of a haulage firm! Just get channel five to film it! Besides that Eddie Stobart is a slave driver and doesn't care about the drivers. The format is that of 'Ice Road Truckers' WTF is that all about? get Julian Clary to narrate it and call it 'Nice Road Truckers'. I won't be watching any more, puts the industry to shame. Pee'd of Driver!!8:48pm Sun 3 Oct
Unusual name are annoyed by the arrival of a new truck sporting an unusual name
Can someone tell me the name. I can't watch it.
Jim 8:09pm Fri 1 Oct
Valentino. Unusual because its a boy's name. Usually all girls. Named after Valentino Rossi of motor cycle fame.

Stobart ways 1) speeding in a tanker on the a66
2) doing a forced unlock of the iso track
3) swearing
4) gas cooker in the cab which is against company policy
All this from a highly professional firm. What ever just another Money grabbing rich man Ex employee11:38pm Sat 2 Oct
Worried I was aghast to see some character called mark on teh telephone to his office who caused a panic. Mark and some idiot called Gary at head office suggested it was matter od life that some load gets deliverd on time. Watch closely at how many times this Mark takes his eyes of teh road while on a motorway to take and have a conversation with this Gary. He looks at the telepohioen device several times while talking. I am extremley concerned, the pressure and telephone calls these drivers are put worries me should I be in anywhere near them on teh mortorway. Stoburt need prosecuting following the programme. It was truley shameful., Worried motorist8:29pm Fri 1 Oct
