In the Game of Thrones you win or you die Where do I start? Brilliant writing, acting, casting, sets, special effects, cinematography, score and overall production values. HBO took a risk with this show to be sure, and I'm glad they did. TV needs stuff like this to push boundaries and raise the bar. If there's one criticism I can give then it is in regards to the pacing, although I am aware this is due to the nature of the adaptation. I imagine it was quite an effort to fit such a large book into 10 episodes!
Oh and while I'm at it give that man Peter Dinklage an Emmy! /tv/ was here5:18am Wed 22 Jun
Good but not amazing The acting's great but it's not the second coming like some people would lead you to believe. Takes a while for the show to heat up but once it does the ball gets rolling and you'll enjoy the ride. The story itself is deep and interesting so it makes for a great show. Certainly one of the best shows of the moment but nowhere near as good as things like The Wire, Soprano's or Battlestar Galactica.

Brilliant!! What can I say that everyone hasn't said already? This fantasy/drama is easily the best thing that's we've had on tv for years. Every aspect of it is fantastic. The casting and acting, the storylines, the sets, and the superb production, all make for such high quality tv that it's impossible not to imagine an awards-fest for it. And Jon Snow is gorgeous!!
