the fight on the ice...
is the only decent scene in it. the rest looks cheap and nasty. poor set dressing and low production standards in general = brit movie. bit of a shame cos the cast is ok.

Whatever
A film in which snow wafts around, floats upwards and never actually lands...small point, but quite amusing when drinking!

Could do better
A film that can't seem to make it's mind up and ends up sketchily paying homage to Hollwood blockbusters. And Ms Knightly fighting burly Saxons is a gas; she ain't no Queen Latifa or Boudica; couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding.

Terrible film...
Terrible film: badly written and badly acted. Also, Despite the claims it makes for itself, it's about as historically accurate as a holy book.

Good movie
Got stuck into watching this fantasy/historical movie. Very moody and very dramatic fantasy film with historical background based on some truths about Roman and Dane invasion.

Arthur must be turning in his grave
So bad it's good. Full of historical inaccuracies - the best being the Saxons coming south to invade England from Scotland! Full of portentous music and heroic gestures with awful acting and a story line you can read from a mile off. I haven't laughed so much in years.

legendary
I enjoyed it enormously. The storyline was about the lost finding their purpose in claiming their own personal freedom. CO & KK were excellent. Great inspirational film.

Oh Dear!
Where is the storyline?

Terrible
If not very probably, then very actually, one of the worst films I have ever seen. Clive Owen is more wooden than the round table, and who the hell cast Kera Knightley as a rough and ready fighting queen? I mean, good Christ, the girl couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag
