Sexists OK, Melinda wants materials, tradesmen, furniture etc, etc, to do all this great work they say they do for hard up and people who have been let down and ripped off. But I question Melinda going into merchants, furnishers and asking if they would supply what is needed for free. HA! HA! what a joke, I can just imagine what would happen if I, or my wife would be told to do if we asked for free supplies. What a load of crap, to put it bluntly. totally not script I know someone who has had cowboy builders and they dont gor for the cheapest but for recommendations which they did and most people do.. it does make peoples lives change they change there lives for the better and its not their fault if they fall for cowvboy builder who wants to rip them off, some where or antother we all get ripped off its not right and its not fair x hope the family r happy now rarelife8:27pm Tue 27 Dec

Every week is the same. A sad horror story of a ruined job..cue Dom & Mel to inspect the damage.
Mel then shows jon the builder and he says it is worse than he thought.dom goes and does some research on his laptop.
mel then drops a bombshell of yet more work for jon. jon complains saying it will never happen.
dom interviews other customers let down bu the cowboy builder.
mel goes off and scrounges materials from local firms.
dom finds the cowboy builder and confronts him.nothing happens.then it is back to mel for the big reveal.
roll titles.

Good but always the same! Don't get me wrong, this is a great show, I enjoy watching it, but they ALWAYS run out of a budget and they ALWAYS end up getting all the furniture for free which makes me think that the show is scripted. Luke 8:38pm Thu 18 Aug

cheap prices bad jobs the programme never shows that most of these people only want to pay the cheapest price possible. so they get the lowest quote & then moan when it all goes wrong. you should always get lots of quotes. you get what you pay for!! good builder11:38am Sun 17 Jul
