Brilliant! I loved it. It was excellently made with a natural sound-track, for once. When the young couple were homeless in the city, living under a road-bridge, the sound of the traffic rumbling overhead is one of the marvellous moments which sticks in my mind years later. Australian film-making at its best. Viewer6:52pm Wed 8 Aug

Good cinema Excellent film, not least because there is very little dialogue and the director lets the camera do the talking. There is also an absence of the incessant back-ground music beloved of Hollywood. Instead, the natural sound is very effective, especially the boom of traffic above the motorway bridge where the kids find shelter.
A very touching film, excellently crafted, and made by a director who actually understands cinema. Cinéast6:22pm Mon 20 Jun
