2nd best Star Trek after Khan This is a fantastic film it came out the same year as Avatar and is a much better film imo ,ignore the people trying to tell you its rubbish their talking nonsense i mean just look at the viewer rating

Star trek XI It's essentially the battle seequence from revenge of the sith stretched out for 100 mins(they sy so on the dvd) with 20 mins of random events thrown in as a stroyline. The plot(what there is of it): Romulus gets destroyed, the bad guy from nemesis gets sent back in time to before the original series era and now has the most powerful ship in the galaxy. Does he try to conquer? NO. Does he try to save Romulus(his home planet)? NO. Instead he sort of waits around for 20 odd yrs then destroys Vulcan.
The new Enterprise : For a start it seems to have shrunk and now consists of only 3 parts. The bridge, tiny and looks like a leftover from a washing machine advert. The shuttlebay, an old hangar or studio with a set cheaper than the one from star wars. The engine room, here they didn't even try. It's a concrete bunker full of pipes, with no engineers or even an engine.
The new crew : seemed quite good from what i could tell(they weren't there much), I especially liked Karl Urban as bones but his total screen time was about 60 seconds.
Plot holes you can drive a starship through, ridiculous random events(sorry leutenant this random cadet is now captain), cheap sets, a highly engineer and advanced starship thas was previously made by skilled engineers with unknow equipment is now made by sweaty men with welding gear and I could easily go on.
All about the cgi and an insult to your intelligence 0/10
