Yes and No! Yes, the remake is absolutely pathetic, but ... the original is an outstanding piece of English cinematic history. Guiness is masterly as the boss of one of the most inept band of crooks imaginable. Most enjoyable! PeeCeeBee3:42pm Fri 8 Jul
