Actually Good Pleasantly surprised with this offering, decent script, acting and illusions. I have paid to see films that have not been as entertaining.Worth watching. nottmdon6:38pm Tue 5 Jun
Dialog coach for Christian Bale? This involving and detailed period drama ruined for me by Christian Bale's completely over-the-top Sweeney-like Mockney accent. Move over Dick van Dyke, your crown looks shaky. Elsewhere the dialog coach did a fine job with an almost unrecognisable David Bowie as Tesla. But in the final reel, Hugh Jackman's over-wordy never-ending death speech is accompanied by the least inspired orchestral scoring ever - a succession of rising then falling long chords, worthy of a Simpsons piss-take. Coulda bin a great movie - Michael Caine, who I don't care for particularly, was the best thing in it. By far. Movie Lover9:42am Wed 23 Mar
