sandblasting is a no no i watched the program on making a table out of an old metal pallet. I dont know if you are aware but using real sand to blast with is a real no no as is punishable by a long prison sentance and a very hefty fine last heard it was 10,000 pounds and 6 months prison if found to be using this as sand is extremely toxic causing silicosis a very serious lung desease.Please be very careful what you show on this program as you are going to get some people into serious troble if they dont know the law on this subject thankyou concerned3:29pm Mon 25 Oct

I found this programme purely by luck, then spent the whole day watcing it (much ot the wifes annoyance). I told her "See, I could do that if you let me spend the money on tools like he has".

Comments re Salvager Fantastic program, stumbled across the very watchable Rico and the things he does withy with salvaged wood, metal, stone and glass, in fact you name it.
I could watch the program for hours, if only my wife would let me.
Im 58 and Id like to pack my bags and follow him around looking and learning, Rico,any apprentiships available for a grown up school boy.
