Be realistic Shameful that you have not documented the cashless ticketting system which has been implemented in the Mara triangle to see how things could work rather than focussing on the negative. You have now probably done irre[arable damage to cultural manayatta visits as all tourists will think the money is misappropriated and end up in the pockets of the fat drivers. these drivers get wages and send their kids to school but what they dont have is the human heart to respect others and do the right thing. the tour operators from the UK have also a big stake in this... they can make or break what is going on. sitting on the fence does not help anyone. see what has been implemented in the mara triangle with lodges respecting the system and more than 90% of the monies ending up in the village. I'm come from a country who has similar problems to Kenya, and is really hard to see all this "revolutionary" documentaries...why nobody tells the truth behind this type of conflict?
Why this topic is treated in this way, with a dumb, naive, posh, vulgar presenter that is not telling the truth and didn't see the whole picture. Why nobody speak about the cruel and darkness power of the corporations, the mass media, and all their lies, television lies and all the damage caused by american-british government?

She's good She isn't patronising. She is an intelligent and original presenter who I find engaging. She isn't pretending to be a heavy hitting current affairs programme (do they even exist anymore?). Instead she shines a light on subjects seldom discussed on TV and shows us a genuine reaction. Why shouldn't she be niave? Isn't that the point - that 'the public' are generally unaware or don't think about how people are exploited? I agree the format is rather trite, but don't think that's Tracey's fault. unbelievably naive!!!!! What a wasted opportunity to get some real issues out in the open. Nothing was 'exposed'...and all the blame was left in Kenya.....what about UK tour operators squeezing hotels so much to get low price holidays to market causing the hotel worker exploitation we saw......the blame goes all the way back to the UK.....what about the water pump breaking down next month and it not getting fixed because there is no formal communication channel between the golf hotel developer and the community, none less the issue of poor communities having no legal rights over the land they have lived on for decades all across Kenya.....and politicians receiving kick backs to allow uncontrolled tourism developments.....and the safari lodge managers knowing full well - and turning a blind eye - to how their driver guides exploit the Maasai so they can get away with paying them low wages.......not an exposee at all, more a Stacey Dooley saves the world in one week sensation...shame on you BBC. Oh dear Stacey, I am white kenyan british, please dont patronise me.
