The team heads to Dartmoor to find out how shepherds took advantage of the landscape to boost their income, taking their flocks there for summer grazing. Alex Langlands and Peter Ginn get to grips with shearing, while Ruth Goodman visits a wool mill to learn how the fleeces were processed and manufactured. Land agent Rupert Acton and his family join the trio for a picnic, before using historic maps to follow an authentic Edwardian hiking trail
