It's Ben's first day at Yr Iard and Iestyn is determined to make life difficult for him. Although both Anest and Iolo are worried about the awkwad atmosphere, their minds are elsewhere. Sophie continues to struggle and feels very alone as everyone's efforts to help just infuriate her. Caitlin isn't in a great mood either as her efforts to realise her plan of creating a scholarship in John's memory are in vain and everyone is reluctant to help her
