Voting for Wagner is sending a protest vote against Cowell deciding what the public's musical taste should be based purely on making the most possible money in the shortest possible time. He doesn't give a dam about REAL music (ie creative self expression), but synically manufactures pseudo 'artists'. Close your eyes and actually listen to 'One Direction' - would you really listen if it wasn't for the pressure hype? - could they ever write a song? - do they have ANYTHING to express or share? ...xFactor would be fine if it was all harmless fun but the reality is that Cowell's effort to be God diverts opportunities from genuine struggling artists and ultimately denies us the benefit of shared creativity. Each time Wagner is voted through Simon has to 'take stock' and hopefully he will realise it is not just a small minority who love REAL music. Last year a Fbook campain successfully thwarted his compaign to dominate xmas music. This year it seems a Fbook campain apparently intends to see Wagner as victor and thus ridicule the show. Good luck to them, but more importantly good lucjk to all musicians everywhere who have a hard time trying to get heard above the din of heavily marketted pseudo-pop.
