Used to look forward to Crimewatch but the format and presenters are awful and I won't be watching it again.

Why ?
Why on earth have the producers changed the format to a ludicrous mobile studio with silly flashing blue lights and one of the most irritating presenters on TV and radio ? ( J Vine )

Why has the BBC changed the format. If it's not broken don't fix it. It's like watch next week to find the next instalment. No respect for the victims.

The BBC has lost the plot!
A serious programme that helped to fight crime has been turned into a soap opera! Distractions in the background, it should be in the studio as before! Now impossible to take seriously!

Why does it have to be live from the street? Ridiculous format. Making light of the crimes covered
Stevee   9:40pm Mon 12 Sep Report Abuse

Why is jeremy vine on this? He has made the program terrible! I have watched crime watch for 30 years and I'm now switching over! As jeremy vine is a rat!

New format
The new format is awful, I cannot understand why the programme was from an RAF base, it added nothing to the programme. By far the worst aspect was treating the historical death of a woman as some form of cliffhanger. This needs a really serious rethink, the whole programme focus is wrong.

Jeremy Vine and Tina Daheley present a special edition focusing on crime on the roads. The team explores the devastating effects of dangerous driving by talking to Kate Goldsmith, whose 11-year-old daughter Aimee was killed alongside three members of her wider family after lorry driver Tomasz Kroker ploughed into the back of their car while distracted as he was changing the music on his phone in the moments leading up to the impact. Plus, an appeal for witnesses to a cold-case road rage attack in which 39-year-old Peter Swailes was fatally assaulted after a confrontation with another motorist in West Yorkshire in 1996
