Jay Blades and the team welcome Helle and David into the Repair Shop who bring with them a diamond and sapphire engagement ring that has passed down through three generations of David's family. Having been lost for over a year, the couple were lucky to find it on a gravel driveway only to find it was twisted beyond belief and two of the gems had fallen out. They're hoping goldsmith Richard Talman can bring it to it's former glory. Julyan Wallis is tasked with restoring Jimmy Spencer's Hofner guitar that has been in a state of disrepair for decades. Dominic Chinea is tested with the oldest item he has ever worked on: a 200 year-old church weathervane, delivered by Father Lesie Drake from Benfleet in Essex. Finally, Paul Flynn is hoping Suzie Fletcher can restore his leather bait wallet from his summers spent fly fishing with his Uncle Bob in Ireland as a child
