Aust vs England 8th Nov 2009
BBC1 obviously didn't get the rights to show this game and have put the Rugby League, (France vs Aust), on instead. This is similar to product substitution when ordering shopping over the internet. When you ask for bayonet light bulbs and they send you screw-ins instead. Close but completely useless!

Come on you Tigers
Probably one of the most exciting games of rugby televised you'll see this season. Stand up and be proud you Tigers.

What's the point? Answer:-
"fights almost breaking out" means no fights did break out ...ignorance is bliss (Stoned Immaculate 8:21pm Sun 18 May) and reading your post, you must be truly happy.

What's the Point?
Out of all the sports than man has invented Rugby is by far the worst of all. People get so wound up over such a stupid game. There is no talent whatsoever in this sport. You can pick up the ball??? When I first sat down and watched a game I thought he was cheating!! I even shouted out "Hey, that guy is cheating!". On that particular evening the Scottish were Playing the English, I think (didn't take much notice of the details) and people were really getting upset. They threatened each other and fights almost broke out. I was amazed. It was a bit like watching apes trying to impress the females of the species (there were woman at this bar too). It’s all over a silly game where the only skill you need is to be heavier than your adversary. I gave it another 5 minutes, stood up and walked out of the bar. Give me tennis any day, I've never seen anyone start a fight over tennis. I may be wrong but I doubt it.

should not be top
this should not be top rated show - room for improvement is - or was, until "tvguide.co.uk" decided to remove it - making this a totally rigged list

fit blokes in tight short shorts
come on girls - get with the programme. i was so shocked when i caught up a the game again recently (after a long absence) - gone the flabby bellies and baggy gear - instead handsome men, with visible muscles in lycra fitting wear. a whole other world of sport appreciation opens up before us.

Live coverage of the 127th staging of the world's oldest rugby sevens competition at Melrose Rugby Club, which was won last year by Harlequins. Overseas teams competing in this year's edition of the tournament at the Greenyards include the Romanian and Polish national teams and the rugby equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters - Tiger Rugby from the USA. From a local Borders perspective, Melrose will be looking to go one step further than their loss in the men's final last year, and lift the Ladies Centenary Cup for the first time since 2011. Presented by Dougie Vipond, with analysis and commentary from Scotland 7s stars Mark Robertson and Scott Wight, and former Scotland internationals Scott Hastings, Andy Nicol, and Doddie Weir
