During the Japanese invasion of 1942, a seven-strong British patrol beds down in a dilapidated store-hut in the Burmese jungle. Hindered by a malfunctioning radio, the men do not know whether or not to move on and the situation takes a turn for the worse when a lone Japanese scout stumbles across the hut - leaving the soldiers with a moral dilemma.
