Documentary about the experiences of Matthew VanDyke, a sufferer of obsessive compulsive disorder. In 2006, the then 26-year-old bought a motorcycle and video camera and set off from his Baltimore home on a 35,000-mile trip taking him through notorious troublespots in northern Africa and the Middle East. Film-maker Marshall Curry captures VanDyke's search for political revolution and personal transformation
Why an educated seemingly well off couple live in such conditions is puzzling especially with animals. I would have thought the patient would needed to be in a cleaner environment. As for their four children.......were they blindfolded or loss the use of their hands or where were they?

Why the vandalism?
This film was butchered down from 96 mins to 60 mins. This odious practice natirally resulted in little more than a husk of a film. If someone can tell me why storyville have begun chopping up these docs (same story with 'Sonita') I'll be in your debt.
