When magnetic waves from a malfunctioning satellite cause the Magnemite in Vermilion City to start acting strangely, Ren is determined to protect Francois. Ash and Goh try to escort them out of the city, but other Magnemite attack and cause Francois to assimilate into a massive, Magnemite-like being.
