@ Gary
You've Been waiting ages to see this recommendation? Why not get it on dvd, it's cheap as chips in the Fopp sales bin :)

Laughable
Starts off really well during the first scene but then rapidly turns from an authentic unsettling look at occupied Europe to a big kid's comic book view of WW2. My commando/battle comics as a kid had more realism than this over-the-top self-indulgent tripe.

At last...
Been waiting ages to see this recommendation; def worth recording as v.high rating on IMDB (8.3/10) so must be excellent!

@Chris
Those IP addresses you "traced"......may I respectfully suggest that this event happened in your mind, not in reality?

STOP IT QT!!
A film with potential, yet sadly let down by too much violence...NEXT!

Get ready...
Another chance to see this fantastic film. Ok, maybe not historically accurate but a tale of revenge and triumph of good over evil in an original and thoroughly entertaining way.

Could HAVE, not could OF.

Awful boring tosh
About as realistic as Tom and Jerry, but certainly as violent. Tom and Jerry is a lot more entertaining though.

Great Movie
A great take on what could of happened

I'd rather
watch a movie by Almodovar, Herzog or Jodorowsky than Tarantino. Maybe I'm just a bit thick or something.

They don't like it up 'em!
(QT fanboys, that is)

Amazon buyers give it 3.5 out of 5 stars...
...and that's the paying public talking. Personally I'd give it a 6 out of 10, as a couple of the set pieces are well-staged, and Waltz is good in his role. Ultimately, it's weak film making that doesn't repay repeated viewing, from a director who's still stuck in adolescent ultraviolence fetish mode.

Wow
Amazing and powerful film -well worth the 8.3 out of 10 rating on IMDB and Oscar performance! (This TV guide rating system has been spammed with 0 ratings accoding to the IP addresses traced so far, hence the low score shown - ignore this as organised by an ignoramous who doesn't like QT films!).

Film of the century?
The century's only 12 years old, which, by a strange coincidence, is the average age of QT fans :-)

The stupider his films get,
the more I love 'em!

I saw IB at the cinema.
It's not that good. Nice performance by Christoph Waltz, But that's about it. Tarantino Fanboys are free to disagree.

Reply to Nah...
"Universal Truth"...what are you on? This is a fictional film (although most wish it was true!) with Tarantino at his best on the emotional front and characters which it why Waltz won an Oscar for this! Why not check out IMDB dot com first to see what thousands of others have said first...

Nah...
Watership Down is better. More visceral, more universal truth, more emotional punch, more rabbits : )

Nothing beats it
For quality and pure entertainment, this film can't be beaten. Not for young kids though!

Tarantino's on autopilot.
Tired, boring machismo, disconnected set pieces, not much in the way of plot. Reminds me of Spielberg's "1941". He should have gone all the way and made it as a musical.

Sheer Genius
One of the best made and entertaining WW2 films ever made, brilliant.

Awful, unfunny, overviolent dross
Seriously, don't waste your time watching this rubbish.

More of the same...
Another slightly dull film from perpetual adolescent Tarantino. When will his "mature period" begin?

Brilliant
Right from the off this film is fantastic.
