It still hurts
My eyes are still burning after watching this absolute rubbish. Poorly written by someone who decided that one dimentional characters are funny. Certainly one for the unlettered.

I thought it was a good show. Hope Carl Cooper and Chris Addison write some more.

dreadful
the most appallingly bad, dreadful, unwatchable, unfunny, embarrassingly dreadful 'comedy' i've seen. Poor scripts, poor characters, poor acting - very, very poor with no redeeming features whatsoever

Lab Rats
The longest half hour of my life. Like a surgical procedure minus the anaesthetic. Your average amatuer dramatics society puts on more cohesive, entertaining and witty performances than this. Those responsible for the production and commissioning of this waste of the television licence fee should seriously consider if a career in 'light entertainment' is one to which they are suited.

Confused
What the hell is the point to this load of crap, Honestly the work sitcom ever. At least "when the whistle blows" had a catchphrase!!!

Not Good Enough
Some of the jokes are okay but jokes alone are not enough to make a decent sitcom. The writers display no skill at characterisation or stroytelling. There's no one to care about, no momentum and therefore, for me, no reason to keep watching. It'll probably run for another five series because the BBC seem to have lost their knack with comedy lately.

Keeping Up Appearances meets, um, Keeping Up Appearances
A comedy for curtain twitching, Daily Mail reading middle england. A truly shocking waste of license payer's money. Amrmando Ianucci should be ashamed. Honestly the unfunniest programme I have EVER seen. Keep those paradiddles up, Anne.

I must be unusual ...
I thought it was rather good in places. A bit patchy, buy hey, it's episode 1! Must be the geek in me. Look forward to seeing if it gels over time. Hope so, far too little science on telly of any form.

Dire
It is as if someone watched 'Extras' and when they saw 'When the Whistle Blows' they thought that was the best bit. About as great an addition to our culture as a drum kit was to Anne Frank's attic.
