Best thing for ages Really enjoying this drama of the fantastic book. Great casting loved the peeing! sam6:58pm Sat 30 Oct
relevance to book Did the scriptwriter actually just look at every 50th page or so? The way the story keeps veering of into lala-land is amazing. This is an awful filming of a truely great book. emily9:08am Fri 29 Oct
episode 2 repeated when is episode 2 of pillars of the earth due to be repeated? sewnut10:54am Mon 25 Oct
absolute rubbish this is was diabolically bad taste8:40pm Sat 23 Oct
Weak Don't worry if you missed the first episode. Much of it was battles consisting of grappling and grunting. I got very bored by half-way and went to bed. WhyNoRealDramaOnTV?6:28pm Sat 23 Oct
Addictive Pity is only a mini series, great characters superb cast, watch out for Sam Claflin (Richard) this was his first part and is tipped for great things in the future. Stan the Man8:53am Sat 23 Oct
Repeat! I missed the 1st one and can't get 4oD! Repeat please!!! starlight079:03pm Wed 20 Oct
good but prefer the book i like this show and will watch the rest. Fans of the book will notice some aspects of the story have been changed for TV - fair enough i suppose but i found this distracting. Good cast, odd music, terrible intro and a splattering of historical inaccuracites. Good fun. phl8pg4:00pm Tue 19 Oct
Music Good programme. Music not relevant to period and irritatingly not relevant to scene. Double episode till 11 pm. Irritating as I crashed out at 10.15. When is it repeated? G9:52pm Sun 17 Oct
Repeats Please! I missed the lst episode - is it being repeated or is it on 4oD rog4:04pm Sun 17 Oct
ruined by soundtrack The soundtrack is relentlessly boring and intrusive, the same throughout. It has wrecked what could have been an excellent production. agatha11:14pm Sat 16 Oct
Great Great stuff. Lots of plotting and backstabbing as well as love and drama. The CGI is impressive - really brings you the sense of being there in that time and place - not flashy: it does the job and no more.

scheduling this is blooming excellent, but why does it have to clash with Match of the Day? himagain10:30pm Sat 16 Oct
