It was 1984... From the year of the famous Orwell book, Hollywood did its best to provide as many dark Sci-Fi movies as it possibly could - and this fairly low-budget flick from James Cameron was the best of them all. No mean feat. In answer to 'plothole' I think it's supposed to be a mixture of fate and free-will. Perhaps John sent Kyle because he knew that Kyle would fall for Sarah. And as far as I rememebr, there was no suggestion of when she might become pregnant; it was love between Kyle and Sarah, rather than necessity. 3:17pm Sat 6 Jun
