Film Millions Like Us (1943)
Good-natured sentimental British drama about the fortunes of a family split up during World War Two. The action focuses largely on the exploits of youngest member Patricia Roc, who hopes to do something glamorous for the war effort, but ends up working in a factory. However, she resolves to make the best of it - and even manages to find romance. Also starring Eric Portman, Gordon Jackson and Anne Crawford
