A Place in the Sun

British families search for dream holiday homes around the world. A presenter shows them around three or four properties and offers advice on the pros and cons of buying a home in another country. The roster of presenters has included Zilpah Hartley, Amanda Lamb, Jonnie Irwin, Jasmine Harman and Laura Hamilton. 'A Place in the Sun' premiered on Channel 4 in 2000. There have been a number of spin-off series, including 'A Place in France', 'A Place in Spain' and 'A Place by the Sea'.
