FIFA World Cup Live 2014 Watch show online
Germany v Argentina (Kick-off 8.00pm). Coverage of the showpiece match at the Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the successors to 2010 champions Spain are crowned. After three unconvincing victories over Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria saw Argentina top Group F and progress to the knockout phase, it was expected that Alejandro Sabella's men would begin to produce the kind of form that initially saw them considered among the favourites to win the tournament. However, what followed were three further scrappy victories over Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands, with a late winner in extra time proving to be just enough to dispatch the Swiss, while penalties were required to ensure they succeeded over the Dutch in what was a dour semi-final. Presented by Adrian Chiles, with commentary by Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend, and analysis by Martin O'Neill, Fabio Cannavaro, Lee Dixon, Glenn Hoddle and Ian Wright. In the event of extra-time and penalties, subsequent programmes are subject to change

Hamilton has won this race twice, once on this track and once at the Nurburgring. With commentary by Ben Edwards and David Coulthard

Golf: The Open Championship Watch show online
Hazel Irvine introduces further live coverage of the fourth and final day at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake, where the 143rd staging of the Major concludes. There were high hopes of Lee Westwood succeeding Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke to become the second successive British winner of the title going into the final day at Muirfield 12 months ago. However, the Englishman relinquished his overnight lead following a disappointing four-over-par round of 75 and had to settle for a share of third place. In contrast, America's Phil Mickelson produced one of the most memorable rounds of his illustrious career, with his 66 helping him to overturn a five-stroke deficit at the start of the day and add a maiden Open Championship to the four Majors he had previously won. With commentary by Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Andrew Cotter, Mark James, Phil Parkin, Maureen Madill, Scott Drummond and Frank Nobilo, and reports by Dan Walker. Subsequent programmes are subject to change
