Great fiction Great British fiction , so much better than all those " reality shows " and other nonsense so dominant on the screen nowadays. Bart Abokobi7:57pm Fri 11 Jan
Mr great to see how Lewis isnt happy everafter ,
plus Rebecca Front back after being left out of the last episode !. Hathaway needs to listen to his older colleges !. Ada 9:08pm Mon 23 Jul
Why oh why? Split in to 2 parts? ITV must think people cannot concentrate for more than 45 minutes. An insult to the viewers. Carol11:03am Fri 10 Oct
edward fox I really enjoy this series and am disappointed that it is finishing. All the actors in this weeks episode were as excellent as always Sith the exception of Edward Fox who gave his usual one dimentional performance. He must be the most overrated English actor of all time. lindy9:58pm Wed 13 Feb
Bad idea Why split this into 2 parts? The show is now so disjointed that it's spoiled completely. Kath3:38pm Mon 4 Feb
Can't Be True Hathaway leaving - no no! They've said he's on vacation but I've read he is going for good.....tragic! bemused6:49pm Tue 22 Jan
Just Great I must agree it is much better than Morse the Misery. Lewis can be both light and dark which adds to his appeal. bemused11:06pm Wed 9 Jan
really enjoy it Really enjoy watching Lewis looking forward to this new series lewis fan10:22pm Wed 9 Jan
A Dynamic Duo The best drama series on TV at the moment by far. Humour, suspense and loyalty. Congratulations on the acting and everyone involved in the making of this (in my opinion) outstanding series-it has been a rare pleasure to use my brain in front of the TV, for a change, trying to guess 'who done it'. Got it right a few times! The plots are no more unbelievable and confusing than most of the adverts and reality programmes on TV at the moment! Apologies for pressing the rating 8.1 by mistake (I obviously watch too much TV) - it certainly gets my 10 any day. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment
Mr. Whatley and Mr. Fox - a dynamic duo! P.A.L12:04am Sun 23 Sep
Better than Morse Excellent series. Fat Controller5:25pm Wed 27 Jun
Lighten up Lewis has no sense of humour. Thank goodness for his sidekick who makes the show watchable. doubletake1:12pm Fri 22 Jun

Yawn How long can they run with this rubbish zzzzzzzz AMPADU8:19pm Wed 17 Aug
Not Morse but... These are always an enjoyable romp. Maybe not of the standard of the old Morse but a good evenings entertainment nonetheless. Bellatori5:10pm Wed 29 Jun
A Class Act! Pure absolute pleasure! What great actors. Kevin Whately is brilliant and Laurence Fox brings a pathos in the small spaces. Remember the scene with the ipod? Hathaway lets Lewis listen to his music. Pure Class! Let there be more!4:55pm Tue 28 Jun
Lewis & Hathaway Excellent program, most enjoyable - hope that there will be another series. First rate. Meiosis7:27pm Sun 24 Apr
re poor scriptwriting. agree they should be better they could do worse than redo the best morse scripts ! for i anyway. morse5:05pm Sun 24 Apr
Could be better! Always entertaining - the setting and the two leads - but the plots are getting ever more unbelievable. Would be a shame if it went down the pan because of lazy scriptwriting. Ridicularm8:30am Mon 18 Apr
What a pile... of old drivel. I thought Morse stank like a mouldy old jock strap, but this is way, WAY worse. Laughably predictable set-ups... zero- tension... acting by numbers. Pathetic waste of resources. Critter1:34am Sun 9 May
Continue Series forever Great show. Lewis is getting so like Morse and his sidekick Hathaway is just ideal to work along with him jmdob4:26pm Tue 6 Apr
Great show I always enjoy these episodes.
@Yvonne - I'm not Christian, they are all hugs and forgiveness. I'm Old Testament - God smites thee mightily. Nitro9:30pm Mon 21 Dec
FAO Yvonne Calm down, it's a TV show. Remember not everyone is a christian, not everyone has to approve of homosexuality and not everyone has to be sypathetic towards transexuals. The same tolerant society that gives you the freedom to live your life also allows people to form their own opinions, even ones that you may not agree with. Straight and proud.12:16pm Sun 5 Apr
why legitismise predjudices Your program Lewis (life born of fire) manage to stignfy Gays,Transsexuals and born again Christians in the one episode.
As a Transsexual I am subject to abuse, which you have helped to legitimise - while as a Christian I reject the charactures you presented, many Christian are trying to open Gods church to everyone. Well done!

Lewis Keeps up the style of Morse, can definitely begin to see his personality in his former protege. Well worth watching, especially for all those who miss Endeavour. Laurence Fox excels in Whatelys former role of the sidekick, and Whatley himself seems to be settling nicely into the role of effective and efficient superior. dwalford6:47pm Sun 19 Aug
