Hey Agatha
Agatha - go and sit in your local A&E for a little while and you will hear this happening. Unless they throw you out!

A & E The dark side.
A & E What about the dark side of the NHS? hospital infections i.e. Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. That's what I was given & still have 18 month's later.

Dead Slow
How can an A&E programme concentrate mostly on what patients/relatives have to say? You can hear that on any bus. Even comments by the doctor were mundane.

the whole picture
I worked in A/E for 30 years and I know that people cannot appreciate the time they have to wait is because of priority and seeing this show they would be able to see the whole picture. I often wanted to take complaining person who is so wrapped up in themselves behind the scene to see what other people are going through. I don't suppose seeing this will ever change them but one lives in hope.

A curse on Musac
Channel 4 gives us yet another programme with totally unnecessary sound effects in the form of percussion. It is horrible, adds nothing to the content, and really irritates me. There was a time when accompanying music was a trademark of a programme, but now it is impossible to listen to, let alone reacll it.

The best thing on tv at the moment
I love this program, it has pathos, drama and humour but i am afraid it makes you fear for the future, most of the younger a&e patients are the most selfish, whiney lot i have come across and its depressing. Still, its cleverly filmed and a real insight into todays society.

Waste of NHS funds!
The majority of these patiens are drunks, knife crimes or gang related injuries. If the NHS can't afford to help many cancer patients, why are these 'waste of space' people receiving so much care?
