very distubing concept
How did the programme makers get this past ethics committess. These children will get picked on at school and anyone who watches the programme will recognise them.I think it's an invasion of the child's rights and exploitative.

The trouble is these so called parenting experts live in cloud cuckoo land and are childless. Or their children are like stuffed dolls and are wheeled in and out of the cupboard.

Ridiculous
Disgusting behaviour and the so called expert walked in straight away and blamed the mother!! There were 3 other perfectly well behaved children in the house so if it's down to the mother's behaviour, why are all the children not behaving in the same way. That poor woman was at the end of her tether already to then be told it's her fault!! So disgusting and the "in" reason for everything wrong in the world. It's always the parents fault. This angered me so much I had to turn this off and if I ever had a problem that so called psychologist would be the last person on earth I would speak to. She'd probably tell me it's all my mother's fault.

Undiagnosied FASD
Many of these children will have undiagnosed FASD. Professionals are not taught about this disability in their training yet up to 5% of our population are born with brain damage due to prenatal exposure to alcohol. Only a small portion of people with this present with the facial features which is from alcohol consumed day 18-21 of the pregnancy. The vast majority this disability is hidden and is misdiagnosed as ADHD, RAD,Bi-polar, oppositional defiance disorder by misguided uninformed professionals using incorrect interventions that will rarely work.

Psychology
Viewing this programme it is clear these children are crying out for help, and parents, not knowing the correct way to interact with the children cause levels of anger in the child. They each need family therapy, or individual therapy to explore and attempt to heal the relationships.
