to the censor
I wrote a reply to 'candice', but it didn't make it to the list. It was honest, non insulting and precise. Was this the problem?

Workmanship
I would like to see more about the actual work done on the item's instead of glimpses of little bits here and there. Jay Blades is not necessary as the craft person could deal directly with the client especially when they pick up their item. JB doesn't deserve thanks or a hug!

slippy pole
Losing ground now to other fixit shows. Too much time spent on the intros, too much hugging going on,too many fake tears on the showings, formula going stale. Jay Blades is a joke.

stretching it
Yesterday's show featured a young man who brought in, what he claimed was, his grandfather's helmet which he wore throughout World War 1. He said his grandfather served on the Somme(1916), Gallipoli(1915) & Ypres(1916-1917). I would think this was highly dubious, you would not be transferred from the western front to the invasion of Turkey & then back again, all the campaigns were very bloody you would be very lucky to survive them all.The helmet itself was in pristine condition, with its black original issue colour, this would have been repainted for front line service.

Jay Blades
Fantastic program with some very talented restorers . Jay Blades does nothing for this program only to annoy viewers with his lack of input. He is a waste of time and should be removed. He is probably there for the diversity factor and if he is he should quietly leave this program.

Brilliant programme
Surely one of the best programmes on tv. No where near given enough air time.
