Brilliant script, flawless performances and a truly heartbreaking twist at the end. One of the greatest films ever made: a timeless masterpiece.

A classic film from the 80's
A great road movie with some truly classic comedy scenes. Watch out for the poignant ending though - unless you're not ashamed of welling up!

transport yourself
this has to be one of my fave films. Candy and Martin are a great double act and everything that could go wrong does. Great point when Martin loses it in the car park and the music score is cool too. Heart-wrenching toward the end also. A bit of everything here!!

Terrific
I love this film. Classic comedy from two people, notably John Candy, who have to do very little to make me laugh. They do however do plenty so the film becomes really excellent.
