Cried buckets
Have had this DVD for months & never watched it, cried buckets esp. knowing it was based on a real story and his colleagues not knowing what he was going through because he appeared so 'normal'. Wonder how the Chief felt knowing he borrowed that $5 with no idea that the lender was destitute!

Great film, watch it !
@INKY.. lol :) It is on purpose, that the way the Asian people from the little boy's school wrote it on their door. @Northener I think the end is great - not over the top version Hollywood, just to the point and subtle. Besides, look at the guy who walk at the very end of the movie and pass cross Will Smith when he walks with his son on a top of a street and share a few jokes with him , he's the real Chris Gardner - he looks very sharp in a suit. For me , that's the perfect end.

Excellent film
Highly recommended! It's very humbling to watch this film as it is based from a true story and seeing this guy struggling in order to make his place in finance is eye-opening. Great story and Will Smith is excellent.
