Belle Dingle in Emmerdale has been suffering dreadful abuse from husband Tom<\/a> since before their wedding early this year.<\/p>

But now Emmerdale has confirmed her ordeal is almost over.<\/p>\n

Fans will be relieved to know the show is preparing to tell Belle<\/a> and Tom\u2019s final chapter. And there isn\u2019t long to wait.<\/p>\n

Belle\u2019s bravery<\/h2>\n

Belle bravely reported Tom<\/a> to the police last month. It came after she snapped following months of domestic abuse and coercive controlling behaviour at his hands. Belle was so terrified he would kill her, she hit him with an axe.<\/p>\n

And though Tom\u2019s been twisting and manipulating those around him, including girlfriend Amelia and uncle Jimmy, it seems his mask is slipping.<\/p>
