Ruby Fox-Miligan\u2019s tragic past will be revealed in tonight\u2019s episode of Emmerdale. Viewers will learn that she was a victim of sexual violence as a child.<\/p>

As Steph goes through some old photos she comes across a photograph from Ruby\u2019s 16th birthday<\/a>. When she shows her mum Ruby says she doesn\u2019t remember \u2013 but it\u2019s clear she does.<\/p>\n

Flashback to Ruby as a teen in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n

In flashback viewers will then get to see Ruby\u2019s sixteenth birthday party. It\u2019s here they will get a glimpse of her tragic past \u2013 although the scenes are not graphic in content.<\/p>\n

Ruby\u2019s husband Caleb doesn\u2019t know what happened to Ruby as a child. This is because she has buried the trauma as a coping mechanism throughout her life.<\/p>\n

But now the arrival of Steph as well as Ruby\u2019s dad Anthony<\/a> has stirred up a lot of emotions for Ruby. Her life has begun to spiral out of control. The painful memories have resurfaced and flooded her thoughts. And the truth about her past goes someway to explaining why she pushed Steph away as a child.<\/p>
