A new year has dawned in Emmerdale and we\u2019re excited for all the drama that\u2019s going to unfold over the course of 2025.<\/p>

It\u2019s also got us thinking about the current storylines and unresolved matters we\u2019d like to see come to a conclusion over the next 12 months. And some preferably sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

Emmerdale storylines that need to be tied up: The mystery of Aidan Moore<\/h2>\n

Please, please, please can we get closure on the whole Aidan Moore mystery<\/a> and find out who he really was\/is? There has to be a more to the story than him being John Sugden\u2019s dead ex.<\/p>\n

What we know so far \u2013 according to John \u2013 is that he and Aidan served in the army together. They fell in love, but kept their romance under wraps through fear of being ostracised. Aidan was tragically killed in a bomb blast while they were out in Afghanistan, which left John bereft.<\/p>
