In Emmerdale spoilers<\/a> for next week, Pollard comes up with an extreme plan that will fix all of his money woes. But can he be talked down?<\/p>

Eric\u2019s<\/a> world began to spiral when he was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s<\/a>. And as the time went on, things only got worse and worse. He ended up investing all of his and Brenda\u2019s life savings into crypto-currency \u2013 only to lose everything to the scam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But now, he\u2019s adamant to change it all. Wanting to put things right with Brenda<\/a>, Eric comes up with a drastic plan; to burn down the shop.<\/p>\n

Kerry<\/a> began working as a cleaner for Eric shortly after he and Brenda split up<\/a>. So when she sees that he is clearly struggling with something, she is eager for him to open up to her. And he reveals he feels like a failure because he hasn\u2019t gotten the money back yet.<\/p>\n

She tries to reassure him that Brenda wouldn\u2019t want him to get overwhelmed with his health condition. But even she is unaware of the true extent of his turmoil.<\/p>
