Just in case we forgot anything important. Like a couple of sons. Or perhaps killing someone\u2026<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle-1st\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Memory troubles aside, it was another gripping week of telly, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.Well, just about every minute. Here\u2019s what we thought, in this week\u2019s Emmerdale review.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23255\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23255\" style=\"width: 1500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-23255 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.emmerdale-insider.com\/uploads\/2025\/01\/28_01_emm_kerry_pollard_02-e1736862019254.jpg\" alt=\"Emmerdale review: Kerry Wyatt and Eric Pollard sit down to talk together\" width=\"1500\" height=\"844\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23255\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Poor Kerry\u2019s been through Such A Lot since she killed Frank and kept quiet about it (Credit: ITV)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Will no one think of poor Kerry Wyatt\u2019s suffering?<\/h2>\n<p>Since poor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2025\/01\/29\/frank-clayton-remembered-emmerdale-this-week-how-amy-kerry-responsible-death\/\">Frank Clayton<\/a> suffered his fiery end we\u2019ve been a bit obsessed with how Kerry and Amy just got on with their lives afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>Kerry and Amy were the ones who caused the explosion that blew up the Sharma sweet factory but the villagers all thought Frank was responsible for his own demise.<\/p>\n<p>When a devastated Tracy and Vanessa \u2013 Frank\u2019s daughters \u2013 found out the truth, there was a bit of scuffle. Tracy gave Kerry a shove, and she banged her head. And somehow Kerry and Amy convinced the grieving sisters that now they were even.<\/p><section class=\"widget block-30 widget_block mb-4\"><div class=\"mb-3 stories-slider-container overflow-hidden And we were reminded of all that this week, when Tracy thought for about 30 seconds before leaving daughter Frankie in the care of Amy. He was, not surprisingly, sad about Heath\u2019s untimely death, as the headstone went up on his son\u2019s grave.<\/p>\n<p>But as he and Cathy visited the grave and reminisced, Bob said Heath had been \u201cthe best son a man could have\u201d.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>The absolute best, Bob? Because we\u2019re wondering where your other sons Josh and Jamie come in this ranking of offspring?<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2024\/10\/02\/bob-hope-and-his-wives-and-kids-emmerdale-most-married-man-and-his-seven-children\/\">Bob does have a lot of children<\/a>. Which begs another question. WHY aren\u2019t Bob\u2019s family all coming back to Emmerdale?<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d love to see his surviving kids \u2013 Josh, Jamie, Carly and Roxy \u2013 not to mention his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2025\/01\/22\/emmerdale-what-happened-dawn-son-tj-now-perfect-time-return\/\">grandson TJ<\/a> \u2013 back in the village. Our emotions were pulled all over the place, as Aaron first realised he was innocent, then twigged that Ruby \u2013 and Caleb \u2013 had let him believe he was a killer. THEN again as he understood why Ruby was so desperate for Steph to be protected.<\/p>\n<p>We did think <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2025\/01\/31\/emmerdale-viewers-annoyed-by-aarons-overreaction-to-rubys-murder-revelation-he-has-to-play-the-victim\/\">Aaron was being a little (a lot) unfair<\/a>. After all, he did give Anthony a right good kicking, so he\u2019s hardly innocent.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>And while we get that it must have been a tricky couple of days for him, poor Ruby\u2019s been dealing with this horror for three decades.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Danny Miller, who plays Aaron, is a great actor and he brought it this week. And Beth Cordingly, who plays Ruby, is just brilliant.
