He initially targeted the married mum-of-two over his brother Butch\u2019s death. Oh and he also attacked Angie\u2019s elderly father Len, pushing him down a flight of stairs.<\/p>\n<p>When Angie discovered what he\u2019d done, Cain had to pay. Working with the police, Angie plotted to set Cain up for a robbery. But the plan went horribly wrong and Angie was fatally wounded in a car chase. She died in Cain\u2019s arms as he begged her to say she loved him. href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2024\/08\/21\/sadie-king-emmerdale-scams-marriages-affairs\/\">Sadie King<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>She enlisted his help to stop her millionaire father-in-law Tom from marrying Charity Dingle. Cain was instructed to seduce Charity, while Sadie set up a camera to capture the moment. She presented the incriminating snaps to Tom and Charity got jilted at the altar. Sadie then dumped Cain and he responded by killing her pet dog, Damon!<\/p>\n<p>The pair resumed their alliance when Sadie paid Cain to plough a JCB into the King family\u2019s show home at the Kings River development. The building was badly damaged, and the family botched the repairs. At the time she was barely legal at 16, and Cain should have known better at 36!<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t the first time Cain has seduced someone young enough to be his daughter. The mechanic succeeded in tearing a family apart, but he didn\u2019t seem to care too much.<\/p>\n<p>Cain\u2019s most toxic relationship has been the on\/off one he\u2019s had with Charity. The cousins became lovers when they were underage teens, which resulted in the birth of daughter Debbie.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>In 2016, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2025\/02\/17\/cain-dingle-crimes-cheating-death-moira-love\/\">Cain slipped back in Charity\u2019s bed<\/a> after his marriage to Moira hit a rough patch. Although he\u2019s technically not killed anyone (that we know of) he\u2019s certainly tried to.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2015 Cain plotted to murder Robert Sugden and frame his ex-wife Chrissie for the crime. He formulated the plan after Robert was shot and Aaron was wrongly charged with the crime.<\/p>\n<p>Desperate to protect his family, Cain snuck into the hospital where Robert was recovering, using a teddy bear to hide himself from the CCTV cameras. He had discovered the pair were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2025\/02\/13\/liam-plans-pop-question-chas-dingle-emmerdale-disastrous-love-history\/\">sleeping together behind Paddy\u2019s back<\/a>. But the worst part of it was Chas had missed their mum Faith\u2019s passing because she was too busy getting jiggy with Al. And as far as Cain was concerned that was reason enough to murder Al.<\/p>\n<p>During a tense showdown at Butlers, Cain threatened to shoot the sleazy businessman dead. First <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/box\/inside-the-love-life-and-times-of-joe-tate\/\">Joe tricked her into believing<\/a> he was a businessman called Tom Waterhouse as part of a scheme to get back to Charity, who he blamed for his dad\u2019s death. Then he convinced Debbie he wanted to marry her, when really he was out to steal Kim Tate\u2019s fortune.<\/p>\n<p>Cain got caught up in the drama and landed a punch on duplicitous Joe. He was knocked out cold and Cain feared he\u2019d actually killed him. But what Cain didn\u2019t realise was that Nate was in fact his longlost son. He had been brought up believing Cain had abandoned him and decided to take revenge by seducing his missus.<\/p>\n<p>All hell broke loose when Cain realised what Nate and Moira were up to. He tracked the cheating pair down to a hotel then lured them onto a boat in the middle of a lake. A brawl broke out, Nate revealed his true identity, and Moira went overboard, almost drowning. Cain almost killed Nate too, but decided to save him at the last minute.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Father and son eventually made up, but their relationship was often stormy. Cheating with your brother\u2019s missus while your own wife is undergoing life-saving surgery to remove a brain tumour. But that\u2019s Cain for you!<\/p>\n<p>He and Ruby agreed to keep their indiscretion a secret, but then Anthony found out and all hell broke loose.<\/p>\n<p>Once Caleb confronted Cain with the truth he knew he had no other option but to tell Moira. This is probably the worst thing Cain has ever done to his wife and it\u2019s no wonder Moira considered kicking him out.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Can the couple survive Cain\u2019s betrayal?
