John Sugden has never been what you\u2019d call enthusiastic about becoming a resident of Emmerdale. He was reluctant to get to know his half-sister Victoria, cautious about starting a romance with Aaron, and generally kept everyone at arm\u2019s length.<\/p>
Gradually, though, the good people of Emmerdale persuaded him (or perhaps wore him down!) that it was a good place to be. He took a job at the surgery, moved in with Aaron, and now they\u2019re engaged.<\/p>\n
Except John\u2019s keeping some big secrets. He didn\u2019t tell anyone he\u2019d been in the army for ages, took a long time to explain his connection to Aidan Moore \u2013 whose dog tag he had \u2013 and he was very competent at getting rid of Anthony\u2019s body.<\/p>\n
