Sarah Sugden in Emmerdale has decided she wants a baby, despite having a life-limiting condition<\/a> that could see her only live to be 40.<\/p>

She is determined this is what she wants, but is not accepting the reality of her situation. And those watching at home have called her \u2018selfish\u2019 over the plan.<\/p>\n

After ending things for good with Jacob and being dumped by Kammy, Sarah has decided to wash her hands of men altogether. And while we can\u2019t blame her for that, her next idea in her mission to live her life to the full has more than a few complications.<\/p>\n

She told Vanessa on Monday night (April 28) that she had decided to have a baby<\/a>. She doesn\u2019t need a man and just wants to be a mum before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

Sarah has life-limiting condition Fanconi anaemia, which is a complex medical condition. It could lead to bone marrow failure, physical abnormalities and organ defects. Sarah is also at an increased risk of certain types of cancer. In fact she has already battled throat cancer. And she has also had a heart transplant after suffering heart failure.<\/p>
