Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly<\/a> has revealed a surprise connection to This Morning host Ben Shephard.<\/p>

The world of showbiz and soaps is small that it\u2019s not usually surprising when one actor knows another from drama school or from cameos. But Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly, who plays the loved Ruby Miligan<\/a>, has revealed she actually goes way back with Ben Shephard.<\/p>\n

Beth appeared on This Morning today (May 7) to discuss all things Emmerdale. And while she was there, she got the chance to reunite with Ben.<\/p>\n

Emmerdale Beth Cordingly reunites with This Morning host<\/h2>\n

Beth took to her Instagram<\/a> to share that she was going to be on This Morning to talk about Emmerdale. And in doing so, she revealed she actually knows Ben Shephard.<\/p>\n

It turns out the pair actually went to university together in Birmingham, and have remained friends ever since. But it had been a while since they saw each other, so Beth was excited to reunite with him.<\/p>
