Enemy of the people Joe Tate<\/a> was pushed out of a window in Emmerdale this week, as the village gathered to celebrate the birthday of Lydia Dingle<\/a>. Joe\u2019s currently in an induced coma, suffering a brain bleed at the moment, with his life hanging in the balance.<\/p>

In the meantime, the party attendees were issued a warning by investigating officer DS Dasari \u2013 if he didn\u2019t pull through, someone would be facing a murder charge.<\/p>\n

But who pushed Joe? With all Joe\u2019s enemies gathered in one place, there\u2019s no shortage of suspects, from the obvious red herrings to those flying just far enough under the radar to make for a good plot twist.<\/p>\n

Who pushed Joe out the window in Emmerdale?<\/h2>\n

1. Billy<\/h2>\n

If there\u2019s a prime suspect to have attacked Joe, it\u2019s Billy<\/a>. Billy has no shortage of motives \u2013 not only did Joe break up his marriage thanks to his affair with Dawn, but he also threatened his daughter into silence.<\/p>\n

As he proved when he (wrongly) accused Ross of being Dawn\u2019s other man, Billy has a temper. And, as a former fighter, the required body strength too. The only thing with Billy is, he\u2019s too obvious a suspect. Which leads us to our next could-be-culprit\u2026<\/p>
