The stream which connects to the entire village\u2019s water supply, meaning the water could be contaminated. Noah arrived to confront Joe about the drugging, and to see if he has cleared his name. But Joe wasn\u2019t about to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, Joe agreed to tell the police it wasn\u2019t Noah \u2013 so long as Noah retracted his statement about the drugging.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Initially Noah was appalled. But he soon realised he could get something in return and agreed.<\/p>\n<p>Joe told the police an obvious lie that he tripped and fell out the window while putting his phone on the charger (very believable!). It was obvious that<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/news\/recognise-detective-investigating-joe-tate-emmerdale-stephen-rahman-hughes-investigated-tom-king-death\/\"> DS Desari<\/a> didn\u2019t believe him. And fans are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/news\/emmerdale-fans-team-billy-demands-custody-dawn-kids\/\">on his side.\u00a0<\/a><\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>As he left Home Farm and his wedding ring behind, Billy had some harsh words for Dawn: \u201cMaybe you never left the streets, maybe you just upped your price\u201d. Ouch!<\/p>\n<p>Dawn once again went to visit Joe after listening to his voicemails. He begged her for another chance, promising to be different. But Dawn simply asked him to give her time.
