Wedding night rejection<\/h2>\n<p>Tom wasn\u2019t impressed by the Dingle celebrations on his big day. He became more frustrated at the reception as he watched them transform the event into pure chaos.<\/p>\n<p>Things were made worse when Ruby stood up in front of everybody ready to make a spectacle. Tom humiliated Belle in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n<p>Wanting to give him a sexy surprise, Belle turned up at the vets in nothing but a trench coat. Tom was horrified, rejected and humiliated her and made her feel worthless. Tracking her on an app<\/h2>\n<p>Tom downloaded an app on his phone which kept track of Belle and her movements. He had her under constant surveillance, but she had no idea.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Tom faked a robbery to scare Belle in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n<p>When his tracking app proved Belle wasn\u2019t where she said she was, Tom went home and smashed the house up. Isolating Belle from best friend Vinny in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n<p>If anyone\u2019s going to spot abuse, it\u2019s Vinny who was<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2024\/07\/26\/paul-ashdale-emmerdale-vinnys-abusive-dad-explosive-death\/\"> abused by did dad, Paul Ashdale.<\/a> So jealous Tom knew he had to keep them apart at all costs. He kidnapped Piper when she was under Vinny\u2019s care and led Belle to believe it was all Vinny\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n<p>He then attacked Vinny and left him for dead at the Scrap Yard. Physical abuse<\/h2>\n<p>After a while, Tom\u2019s mental abuse turned physical. He punched Belle in the stomach and held her hand under scalding water. Tom forced Belle to get pregnant in Emmerdale<\/h2>\n<p>Belle made it very clear she didn\u2019t want a baby at this point, she wasn\u2019t ready and was worried for her mental health. But Tom pushed and pushed and gaslit and eventually she gave in even though she really didn\u2019t want to.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Turned everyone on to his side<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Throughout all of this, Tom has manipulated everyone into believing Belle is the one with the problem. He told Dr Liam Belle was aggressive and scared him. Abused Piper<\/h2>\n<p>This had fans up in arms: when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2024\/07\/24\/controversy-surrounding-emmerdale-puppy-piper-tom-anger\/\">Tom drugged Piper the dog<\/a> to make Belle come home from the mental health unit. Of course Belle rushed back thinking her beloved pooch was dying, but Piper made a miraculous recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Piper was then at the centre of Tom\u2019s plot again when he locked her outside all night in Wales and forbid Belle from tending to her. He then told Belle she should have brought Piper in and it wasn\u2019t fair to have left her out there all that time!<\/p>\n<h2>12. Tom locked Belle in in Emmerdale<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>A number of times, Tom has taken Belle\u2019s keys and locked her in the house. Once a fire started on the stove and she couldn\u2019t get out. The Welsh holiday cottage<\/h2>\n<p>Everything that happened during their \u2018romantic\u2019 getaway was simply awful. From the way he forced her to make his toast, to locking Piper out and Belle in, to screaming and shouting at her and her cutting her hand. It\u2019s no wonder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/2024\/07\/27\/emmerdale-review-week-belles-terror-toms-abuse-worsens-handful-change-goes-very-far-indeed\/\">Belle made a getaway<\/a> \u2013 but how long can she stay away from him for?<\/p>\n<h2>So what was Tom\u2019s absolute worst moment?<\/h2>\n<p>He\u2019s done so much bad stuff the jury is definitely still out on what was the worst \u2013 but the Emmerdale Insider team definitely have their thoughts.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h3>Kaggie Hyland \u2013 Editor-in-Chief<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cLeaving Piper outside all night at the cottage \u2013 well, any and all abuse of the puppy!
