Jacob and Sarah in Emmerdale might be doing things a funny way round \u2013 planning a baby together and then deciding to be together, but they have now committed to each other and got engaged. Aw!<\/p>

It came as something of a shock in Thursday July 24s episode of the soap, given at the start of it they weren\u2019t even a couple! However, we\u2019re on board with it. Long may they last!<\/p>\n

Jacob and Sarah got engaged in Emmerdale tonight<\/h2>\n

Sarah was being cheered up with a picnic by Jacob as she worried about Mack putting a stop to their baby dream<\/a>. Jacob reassured her then took the plunge and admitted he didn\u2019t want to be mates, he wants to be more.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be with you. I love you Sarah, I\u2019m head over heels.\u201d Jacob tried to kiss her, but she pulled away.\u00a0Sarah said she couldn\u2019t do this again and walked off.<\/p>\n

Jacob chased after her and said he\u2019d rather they were friends than nothing. But Sarah admitted she loved him too and she never stopped. He promised not to hurt her again and they kissed and made up.<\/p>
