Perdy invites Jonny and Paul to the dinner and muscles in on the catering. But Rosemary is happy when everything backfires on a stressed-out Perdy. She loses her cool and hurls a pan across the kitchen!<\/p>\n<p>Later, Gray is worried about his wife\u2019s erratic behaviour after the trauma of her hysterectomy. He points out that her outburst at the dinner party was concerning and even suggests that Perdy might like to try counselling. Perdy though is determined she can control her moods with medication instead.<\/p>\n<p>When Rosemary finds out about Perdy\u2019s medication, Perdy is surprised when her mother-in-law is supportive rather than being her usual mean self. He\u2019s feeling guilty when Donna tells him how much she\u2019s hoping they\u2019ll be able to buy Tall Trees. Instead, he talks to Eli about the mess he\u2019s made, and vows to return to the bookies and get what he\u2019s owed.<\/p>\n<p>Eli agrees to help, but on condition that Marlon follows his lead. Marlon agrees.<\/p>\n<p>When they turn up to do the job at the bookies in a stolen car, Marlon starts having second thoughts. And he\u2019s even more horrified when his unpredictable brother reveals that he\u2019s brought a gun!<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Furious, Marlon starts arguing with Eli, and Eli marches off into the bookies himself.<\/p>\n<p>The brothers argue and Eli goes into the bookies alone but Marlon is worried when Eli is gone for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Going to see what\u2019s gone wrong, Marlon walks in to see Eli threatening the manager and a customer with the gun! Realising everything\u2019s out of control, Marlon tries to grab the weapon, there\u2019s a tussle, and the gun goes off. Marlon is left in a pool of blood! He lies on the floor as he urges <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/news\/is-dylan-eli-dingles-secret-son-emmerdale-fans-convinced-he-has-a-dingle-connection\/\">Eli to make a run for it<\/a>!<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Marlon fights for his life<\/h2>\n<p>Marlon\u2019s rushed to hospital as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.co.uk\/emmerdale-insider\/characters\/emmerdale-donna-windsor-romance-ross-barton-tragic-death\/\">a frantic Donna<\/a> follows, terrified he\u2019s going to die, just like her dad did. Guilt-stricken Eli tells Debbie what happened, and bursts into tears as she reveals Marlon\u2019s fighting for his life.<\/p>\n<p>Viv\u2019s shocked to hear the news about Marlon and rushes to the hospital to be by Donna\u2019s side. But when the Dingles show up, she and Lisa are soon butting heads. Eventually, though, the stress of the day makes the women realise that there are more important things than their feud and they find a way to put their differences aside.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>There\u2019s huge relief for Donna when Marlon wakes up and she\u2019s super-proud when Barraclough turns up at the hospital and announces Marlon is a hero. She says he tried to prevent a robbery, and Marlon fudges the details. Meanwhile, Eli panics when he arrives at the hospital and sees Barraclough there.<\/p>\n<h2>Bob and Viv make a go of it \u2013 again!<\/h2>\n<p>Back home, Viv\u2019s grateful for Bob\u2019s support while Marlon was critical in hospital. She\u2019s soon lashing out at him again, though, once things are back to normal. With some effort, she manages to stop herself, and instead she asks Bob to come back to her and have another go at their marriage.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Marlon faces the consequences<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, Marlon\u2019s furious with his brother, and not impressed when he\u2019s forced to cover for him with Barraclough again.<\/p>\n<p>And he\u2019s left feeling guilty when the grateful bookie shows up with his winnings! He fesses up to Donna about the bet, and she\u2019s disappointed in him. When he tells Eli he wants to tell Donna the truth about everything \u2013 even the robbery \u2013 Eli warns him that if he does, it\u2019ll destroy him.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Meanwhile, a delighted Donna is thrilled to have enough money for a deposit in the house auction, but worried they\u2019ll have to go up against Eric. But a chat with Donna about the night of the shooting, leaves Donna surprised to hear that Marlon gave Jasmine a lift to Hotten. She realises Marlon\u2019s not being honest about everything that happened, and Marlon feels bad.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s good news for Marlon and Donna as well-wishers donate money for their house fund. But Barraclough has more questions for Marlon. Things go from bad to worse as she has to fight off the sleazy store manager, and then accidentally turns on a chain saw and destroys the set!<\/p>\n<p>Sharon\u2019s delighted to discover that someone\u2019s filmed Kelly\u2019s disastrous modelling job and it\u2019s gone viral online! Wanting to rub salt in the wound, she arranges a radio interview for Kelly, who is horrified to hear from the DJ and hangs up.<\/p>\n<p>Convinced her modelling career is over, Kelly is feeling despondent, until a magazine calls her to ask her for her side of the story. Has this helped her career after all?<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Shadrach gets Jo\u2019s goat<\/h2>\n<p>Now Rosemary\u2019s left Home Farm, things look shaky for Jo\u2019s goat\u2019s milk business. Jack offers to buy into the business instead, and Jo\u2019s pleased, but his offer falls apart when the Kings discover that the contract was already in place. They insist on taking control of the business idea and tell a fed up Jo that they expect a return on their investment.<\/p>\n<p>Wanting to prove her independence, Jo buys some goats from Sam and Shadrach. But when Paddy checks them over, he\u2019s amused to discover one of them is a billy goat, who\u2019s definitely not going to be any use for giving milk!<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Later, Paddy suggests Jo goes to visit an experienced goat farmer for advice. The idea backfires when the farmer sees her goats and realises that they are his \u2013 they were stolen!<\/p>\n<p>Jo is upset when he insists that she pay him for the goats and she storms off to confront Shadrach for his crime.<\/p>\n<h2>Val and Sharon butt heads in Classic Emmerdale!<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Sharon and Val clash over the kiss-and-tell story in the newspaper, because Val\u2019s parenting skills are not shown in a very good light in the report! Sharon\u2019s pleased to have landed a modelling job out of the article, but furious Val plans to get her daughter to leave the Woolpack.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Rodney gets a job as the Home Farm Estates Manager. And Paul thinks about setting up his own events business.<\/p>\n<h2>Emily annoys Jasmine and worries Sam<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Jasmine\u2019s annoyed by Emily\u2019s constant presence at the house, and can\u2019t settle to revision. Wanting some quiet, she goes to the pub, and she\u2019s irritated when Emily turns up there, too. Emily can\u2019t understand what the problem is, not even when Diane points out that Emily\u2019s closeness to Ashley is a little odd\u2026<\/p>\n<p>With Laurel still away, Sam is worried about Emily\u2019s obsession with married vicar Ashley. When he expresses his concerns, Emily accuses him of being jealous.<\/p>\n<p>Later that day, Ashley cooks Emily dinner but Sam\u2019s words stay with her and the meal goes awry when anxious Emily makes her excuses and dashes out. When Diane doesn\u2019t respond, Val assumes she\u2019s miserable about her upcoming 60th birthday. Diane is forced to agree that\u2019s the problem though tells Val to keep quiet about it. As if Val has ever kept quiet about anything! Obviously, she organises a birthday party for Diane\u2019s big day, thinking it will help cheer her up. Hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Louise and Jamie share stories of their relationship disasters.
