They think he was meeting Rosemary at Manor Farm when she disappeared.<\/p>\n<p>He denies writing the entry and with no more evidence to go on the police let him go. But Matthew is angry when both his solicitor and Perdy seem to doubt his innocence.<\/p><section class=\"widget block-30 widget_block mb-4\"><div class=\"mb-3 stories-slider-container overflow-hidden meeting with his private detective, who reveals that he has traced Rosemary to Miami. She\u2019s out for revenge on Matthew and she\u2019s making his life a misery from across the ocean!<\/p>\n<p>Stunned at his mum\u2019s actions, Gray decides to tell Matthew what Rosemary is up to. But when he goes to tell Matthew everything, he hears Perdy\u2019s voice. He\u2019s horrified as he hears his wife and Matthew discussing their plans to move in together.<\/p>\n<p>Furious, Grayson decides to add to his mum\u2019s revenge plan. Gray \u2018breaks down\u2019 on a shocked Perdy. She comforts her husband, while Matthew is arrested for murder.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew\u2019s so annoyed at being arrested that he sacks his solicitor. While he waits for a replacement, Gray sees a chance. He turns up at the police station and claims to be Matthew\u2019s new brief. Matthew is furious when he is confronted by Gray and he lunges at him. So a triumphant Gray declares that he wants to press assault charges and it seems that Matthew is in too deep.<\/p>\n<p>But Perdy is suspicious that Gray doesn\u2019t seem to be grieving for his mum.<\/p>\n<p>Gray watches Perdy carefully when he tells her Matthew has been charged. Perdy does a great acting job and remains calm but as soon as Gray leaves the room, she breaks down. But when Grayson and Matthew start bickering they threaten to spoil the party. Emily steps in and calms things down and it\u2019s clear she will make a fantastic vicar.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>But will Paul and Jonny leave the village?<\/h2>\n<p>When Gray finds out that Katie has told Jonny about the surrogacy he\u2019s worried. He goes to see Jonny and tries to bribe him not to tell Katie that he\u2019s gay.<\/p>\n<p>Jonny, though, insists that Katie has right to know. But Gray threatens to ruin things between him and Paul, so instead, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emmerdale-insider.com\/characters\/jonny-foster-emmerdale-history-marriage-paul-lambert\/\">Jonny tells his fiance they should leave the village<\/a> together.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Paul agrees and tells Nicola. But she\u2019s upset and spills the beans to their dad, Rodney. He tells Paul he\u2019s making a big mistake.<\/p>\n<p>When Paul tells Val, though, she\u2019s supportive. She tells them she will be happy wherever they choose to be, just so long as they keep a spare room available for her to come and visit!<\/p>\n<h2>Gabby\u2019s acting dreams are crushed!<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Gabby\u2019s upset not to be chosen to play Mary in the nativity. Later Ashley and Laurel are horrified when they discover both the children have gone missing.<\/p>\n<p>But when they get home, they are relieved to find Gabby with Daniel playing Mary and baby Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Belle\u2019s planning to put on a panto, with the help of the village. Diane\u2019s upset when Jack admits that he hopes they will get their marriage back on track but he\u2019s not sure if they can ever repair their relationship. She rushes out. Jack is sorry that he finds it so hard to forgive and forget.<\/p>\n<h2>Scarlett\u2019s party gets out of control!<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Scarlett\u2019s disappointed when Carrie vetoes her having a party for her 16th birthday. Lexi agrees that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emmerdale-insider.com\/characters\/emmerdale-carrie-nicholls-role-tom-king-murder-many-secrets-where-actress-linda-lusardi-is-now\/\">Carrie\u2019s being unfair.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jimmy persuades Carrie to let Scarlett have a few friends over in the evening, assuring her that there won\u2019t be any trouble. But when Victoria hears about it, she posts details of the party on the internet. Soon the whole house is full of drunken teenagers!<\/p>\n<p>Eli and Daz help get rid of the troublemakers, and Scarlett gives Daz a big snog to say thanks! When Carrie comes home and finds her daughter snogging Daz in the middle of all the mess, she is unimpressed. Daz legs it!<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Later, Scarlett catches up with Daz and he apologises for doing a runner at the party. She\u2019s forced to ask the manager to look after the little girl, but the meeting goes well.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards though, Jo is in a panic when she discovers that Sarah has gone missing. When a furious Andy gets a call to say his daughter\u2019s at the police station, he confronts Jo. Fuming,\u00a0Andy snaps and slams Jo against a door, punching the wood just inches from her face.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>There\u2019s more stress in store, when Andy has another court appearance. When he comes back, he\u2019s in a bad mood, despite Jo\u2019s attempts to make things better.<\/p>\n<p>Andy reveals that he has been ordered to undergo a psychiatric report for the court. Jo tells Andy to keep his chin up for Sarah\u2019s sake.<\/p>\n<h2>Can Jo forgive Andy?<\/h2><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Later, Jack reminds Andy that he needs Jo\u2019s support. For once, Andy pays attention. He tells a delighted Jo that he wants to set a date for the wedding, and he\u2019d like her to adopt Sarah.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa\u2019s not happy when she hears about the plans. She visits Debbie at the garage to warn her that if she approves Andy\u2019s adoption plans she will never be able to have Sarah and could regret it for the rest of her life.<\/p>\n<p>Debbie though isn\u2019t bothered. She tells Andy that she\u2019s happy for the adoption to go ahead.<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<p>But Jo\u2019s having doubts! She tells Andy she doesn\u2019t need a piece of paper to be a mum to his little girl. Later she asks Debbie how she feels about the plan. When she realises that Debbie is completely fine with the idea she changes her mind. She tells a delighted Andy that she will go through with the adoption after all.<\/p>\n<h2>Val\u2019s scheming<\/h2>\n<p>Val\u2019s put out when Eric doesn\u2019t want her to move back in with him. She shares her woes with Rodney who tells her she should go all out to get what she wants. So Val decides to move in little by little. But when Eric finds her underwear under his bed he swiftly returns it!<\/p><div class=\"dbxgas:ad-container dbxgas:double-mpu-container dbxgas:block dbxgas:md:hidden\"><div class=\"dbxgas:slot\" data-ad-slot=\"inarticle\"><\/div><\/div>\n<h2>Donna and Marlon are arguing \u2013 again<\/h2>\n<p>Donna passes her fitness test for the police.
