Our Emmerdale review this week is a mix of horror and humour just like Emmerdale itself. Because there were some really shocking moments this week from Anya\u2019s funeral to Kev\u2019s hostage drama. But there were also some lovely scenes that warmed our hearts and made us laugh.<\/p>

It was, in short, the perfect mix!<\/p>\n

Anya\u2019s sad send-off<\/h2>\n

Wasn\u2019t the Bear storyline really, really bleak this week? Anya\u2019s awful home-made funeral was so grim and sad. Bear\u2019s acceptance of his situation, and unwillingness to do anything about it is hard to watch. Celia is a very bad person. Ray seems to have a good side, then we remember what he\u2019s doing and we realise he really doesn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

We felt really sorry for Laurel this week when she mentioned how Jai turned out not to be as nice as she\u2019d thought, so she was hoping Ray was different. Because while Jai is, we admit, a bit of a git, Ray is downright evil. Laurel\u2019s going to be so sad when she finds out.<\/p>
