New Year\u2019s Day in Emmerdale delivered a series of dramatic moments as it looks like Bear and Celia are dead and more lives are under threat as John holds Aaron and Robert hostage.<\/p>

1. Is Bear really dead in Emmerdale?<\/h2>\n

Ray had been tasked with killing April<\/a> while Celia said she would deal with Bear. But Ray couldn\u2019t go through with it and let April run off.<\/p>\n

Tonight he confessed to Celia he had not killed April and she was furious. She ordered him to do it today or else it would be his funeral.<\/p>\n

Ray stood up to her and said no. He also told her Bear would not be dying either. But Celia told him Bear was already dead. She gloated it was painful and he had begged for his life as she watched him slip away.<\/p>
